A challenge

Good afternoon all. I've decided to give myself a challenge. I'm a meat eater and I actually didn't start eating veggies until I was over 20 y.o. (except tomatoes) and even then, I'm very picky. I definitely will never eat a salad though. So my challenge for myself is, to eat no meat whatsoever for an entire week starting next Monday. I have an Indian vegetarian cook book so will have to look at that for inspiration. So for I saw nothing I liked online... talk about a challenge! I also thought up a few dishes I will for sure eat next week: Spaghetti Arabiatta, Egg fried rice, pizza and Bombay alloo with dal and egg curry... that's 4 days sorted.. I will find something for the other 3 days.. oh wait, does fries count if I don't have chicken nuggets? :)

Quorn mince is delicious and easy to use - we always have it in place of meat mince for spag bol or chilli. Also you can't beat a nice jacket potato for an easy vegetarian meal!

Quien nuggets aren’t too bad. You could also make a pasta sauce with roasted red peppers, onion and garlic (then blend it with balsamic vinegar). Try to eat plenty of lentils and beans. I am vegan and I love it. Well done for giving vegetarianism a go and opening your mind to it :)

Good luck I do not eat a lot of meat just 1 or 2 meals a week thats only becouse I think red meat os good for my ankle bitters as they do a lot !!! OF SPORTS = PROTENS for strenge and to build strong bodies ! but please keep us posted on how your doing !

Mushroom omelette, egg and chips, stuffed peppers, vegetable lasagne, mushroom stroganoff to name just a few

How about cous cous , onions , peppers , sultanas , and sweet chilli sauce ? I have it with chicken , but it's nice on its own :)

Why bother just eat what you enjoy,I like meat but am quite happy to eat fish,veg etc during he week as well.
Do not beat yourself up about food,relish it and enjoy what you like.
