What a lovely way to pass the time ! ;)

Recovering from chemotherapy during lockdown, Stu Prince found a new hobby - he began a Facebook group , called " Reuniting Postcards With Families " , displaying cards he'd bought at auction .
He searched genealogy sites etc , and slowly gained an army of followers / helpers . One astounding find features the card in the image . It's addressed to Miss F.Kaye . Once he found the F stood for Frimette , the rest was easy - and she's still alive ;) Stu sent the card to her , and she was overjoyed .
Stu is in remission , which nicely completes the story .
Isn't that just wonderful ?

I don’t want to be contacted by well meaning strangers. I hope he bears this in mind. Responder

Oh, this really speaks to me, S. ... I often used to browse thru the many boxes of old postcards at our old market, and was always more interested in the writing on the back than the pictures on the front!
I'd wonder who the people were, sender and recipient, and whilst maybe more creative souls than I would have made up stories for them and been satisfied, I was frustrated at these broken links, suspended moments in time, their backstories never to be discovered.... Until now! Does this fellow need a glamorous assistant, by any chance, do you think?! ;)
