vaccination demonstrations

Why are so many people demonstrating against mandatory vaccination when it was okay for the government to mandate no jab no play for school kids?
Singapore and a few other countries are making non-vaccinated people who catch COVID pay for their treatment in hospital as it is viewed that they are putting an unjustifiable strain on the health system by not taking precautions to avoid infection

I see a greater strain on the hospital system with adverse reactions to the jab and the ongoing treatment than I do with covid. A friend of mine in her 30's just died from a stroke, 3 weeks after her second jab. I have another friend whose son, 30, has been in hospital for weeks with pericarditis, attributed to the vaccination. He has a friend with excessively swollen testes for weeks now, because of the vaccination.I know of another who now is being treated for blood clots in her brain, yes, because of the vaccination also. I don't know anyone currently with covid in hospital, and the 2 people I do know who contracted the virus have made complete recoveries. You tell me what is holding up our hospital beds....... In Victoria yesterday 38% Fully Vaccinated in Hospital with Covid.
22% Fully Vaxxed In ICU with Covid.
Sort of tosses the theory that only unvaccinated are putting strain on the hospitals.
With over 90% vaccinated in Vic Vaccinated hospital cases are climbing daily and till continue because you can still catch, spread and as shown end up in ICU.
Should they have to pay for their treatment too?
About time we all had compassion for each other. Something sadly lacking in Australia since the start of Covid or maybe it was never there to start with.

They are protesting on more than that. You obviously only listen to MSM.
Also as most in hospital now are vaccinated its going to be hard to say unvaccinated are causing the strain on hospitals.
Do some research. Over 50% in Victoria hospitalised are fully vaccinated. This is because the vaccine does not prevent transmission or illness.
Also the vaccination efficacy wanes to virtually nothing after 6 months so anyone that hasn't had a Booster is virtually unvaxxed anyway. Stop blaming the unvaxxed. Next you'll be blaming unvaxxed babies.

Maybe we should send them out back, away from anyone else, if they still have the attitude that the virus does not exist, and end up getting it, they are putting our health care workers and families at risk getting it. They do not give a damn about anyone but themselves, so maybe we need to send them somewhere where they cant affect anyone Responder

Aussies don't tend to like being told what to do, it is more this than the vaccine I feel. Responder

I think it is the word 'mandatory' that's getting up people's noses, they are fed up with being told what to do. Responder

simple, choice, medical freedom, bodily autonomy. No protests for no jab no play cos it wasnt all affected like it is with the pathetic covid jab mandates, was only parents under pressure then, to busy and tired to protest Responder

Perhaps it is called freedom of choice, at least I heard that used to be the case in Australia. By that logic anyone who smokes, drinks alcohol, has a car accident etc should pay for their own medical bills if they get sick or injured from their life style choice, really a terrible policy decision Singapore has made Responder
