#26 Happy Hour.

This is a favorite for our family. Mum used to call it Italian steaks.

Ingredients:
Piece of beef ..size varies for the amount you will be serving
Stale bread.. should be about 3 days old
Parmesan cheese
Cheese..any sort and it is best to be old
Garlic
Parsley
Egg
Flour

1. Have the meat, that has been frozen, defrost so that it is still able to be cut into very thin slices. Do not fully defrost as it is easier to cut with a knife or electric knife if you have one.

2. Take the bread and pull out the middle..put it into a blender and take it out once the breadcrumbs are made. It is better than breadcrumbs that you buy in the shops although these can be used.

3. Put the garlic (plenty of it), and cheese (plenty of it)..grated into the blender and mix.

4.Combine the mixture of breadcrumbs, garlic and cheese mixture, Parmesan cheese and plenty of parsley.

5. Coat meat with egg and the breadcrumbs and fry.

These are delicious served warm or cold and if you have a lot leftover freeze them as they are a handy standby with a salad.
